A private session is an opportunity for you to work one on one with a teacher and/or yoga therapist. Your sessions are tailored to your specific needs, and offer a deeper experience to optimize your healing and growth. Private sessions are available in person and online. There are four types of Private Sessions to choose from. 

Embodyment®: A highly effective, hands-on healing modality that creates a release of core tensions in your body. Your embodyment® session reaches into areas of your spine that you can’t quite access with poses, and creates a release of tension that is equivalent to 5-6 yoga classes. You may want to consider an Embodyment® session to help with aches and pains, to address an injury, to get additional support through a tough time, or to provide a deeper yoga experience.

Yoga Therapy: A therapeutic application of yoga, the client is supported, aligned and adjusted in yoga poses to achieve maximum effective change. Your yoga therapy session creates a release of tension in your spine that is equivalent to 6-7 yoga classes. Available in person and online. You may want to consider a yoga therapy session if you have chronic pain, if you’ve accepted the fact that pain is a part of aging (it’s not!), if you feel like you have tried it all to no avail, if you have an injury, or to provide a deeper yoga experience.

Poses/Instruction: Work one on one on poses for your home practice, or to target specific issues. Available in person and online. You may want to consider pose instruction if you are a new student and want to get more familiar with the poses, or you are an experienced student wanting to take your practice deeper. 

Vichara: A form of guided self-inquiry. Vichara is talking, rather than hands on. It is yoga therapy for your mind, and as with all the Svaroopa® sciences, it is powerful and highly effective in its simplicity. Available in person or on the phone. You may consider a Vichara session to gain clarity or insight into a situation or relationship that is bothersome, to overcome ineffective patterns of thought or behavior, to get more mastery over your mind, or to provide a deeper experience.
