This class includes 45 minutes of asana (yoga poses) and 45 minutes of meditation. You will learn or relearn basic yoga poses and also learn the tools for a successful meditation. Yoga poses can improve your body and you can use your body to deprogram your mind. A quiet mind takes you to meditation - to finding your inner essence — to begin the process of knowing and living in the knowing of your SELF.
Due to the holidays, this 12 week series will be broken up into two 6 week series. The first segment will provide you the tools to lessen the stress of the holidays. In the second segment, you will review the previously learned tools to deprogram any stress remaining from the holidays and to start the new year with a more balanced outlook on life. Then we'll take it deeper! You must be able to attend the first class.
